Wasting Time

I can't believe that I am wasting a Saturday to go see this.

First of all, I don't like Harry Potter at all.

Secondly, Boston in February isn't my idea of a good time.

That being said, it is something that my family wants to do...and sometimes you do things for family that you would never do otherwise.

Maybe...

Dow Industrials Post First Close Below 10,000 Since Nov. 4

Stocks fell broadly on Wall Street on Monday on concerns
about government debt in Europe, and the Dow Jones industrial
average closed below the 10,000 mark for the first time since
Nov. 4.

The Dow industrials were down 103.69 points, or 1 percent, at
9,908.54 at the closing bell. The Standard & Poor's 500-stock
index and the Nasdaq were also lower for the day.

You know, the markets have been in turmoil since the election of Scott Brown...

Just sayin'.

RIP Rep Murtha

Who Dat?

Yeah, I don't care.

I did have a good time with ECS and FAU (and I love that whenever I think of Phil Simms from now on, I will think of ECS saying,"Shut Up Phil Simms!") and while the game was okay, there was only one commercial of note, which was the Google ad.

Which prompted playing the Google search game...

Which led to this...

And somewhere, the baby Tim Tebow weeps.

This is...

quite possibly the best picture that has ever been taken of me...

Thank you, Anya!

Just fun!

Two friends got married yesterday and happily, I was the minister!

They got married on the Merry Go Round at the NYS Museum. Yes, they were the first!

Spiritual cleansing is part of my role!

Catholic Schools Week

TEA had a piece of "art" displayed at the Empire State Plaza from Catholic Schools Week. (Irony in full effect, as it was the lobby day for the Charter School people, so we have real private schools that are doing good work and active and involved in the community and the awful Charter Schools that do nothing but...well...suck money out the the public school system and
have no accountability to the voters and members of the community.)

Anyway, here are some pictures.

The Art

The Artist and his piece.

Assm. Canestrari spoke.

Bishop Hubbard spoke as well.

Ever notice?

What is odd about this sign?

If you are bewildered about the date, read about non-enforcement in New York.

By the way, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public space.

Safe Spaces

I have a neighborhood bar.

It is, in fact, one of the reasons I moved to this neighborhood.

I may be, as self described a gadfly (which is really important in this day and age as the MSM has given themselves over to being mouth pieces for the Powers that Be...whores) one that is suspected to br writing about what I gather (or hear outright) at my neighborhood bar.

But that is the thing...

I love the bar.

I love the various mix of people who are there.

And yes, I hear things there that are probably for not public consumption....

The point is...

The bar is a place that I don't hook up in, I don't date in, and I don't talk about what I hear.

It is something that allows me to sleep at night.

And that I had to defend myself, and my various pseudonyms, is...irksome to say the least.

I have nothing in my life but my word and my honor, and even for a HUGE payday, I would not sell them out.
